When I’m not acting…
I am primarily self employed as a translator, working for a range of different clients and services.
My work can be seen on websites, manuals, press releases, surveys, but most of all in streaming services. I’ve worked as a subtitle translator since 2017, so you can see my name at the subtitle credit section at the end of TV-shows and films in several major streaming platforms that I of course cannot name.
I also worked in the technology space for several years, as a software tester/QA/SDET. I basically used to break websites and apps for money. I left the industry in 2016 when I started my training at Drama Studio London, but I could probably be persuaded to take on short term project, if you need something poked and prodded in ways your developers and product owners never anticipated. I was a master of edge cases, and I still have moments where I have to send e-mails to unsuspecting customer support agents to let them know when something frankly isn’t working.
I can also be spotted pulling funny faces at toddlers in the local toy store a couple of times a week. On paper, my job is to sell the parents toys, but this natural clown can’t help herself - I have to make the children smile, especially the little ones.
I am also available for teaching singing to children, directing community theatre and running drama workshops.
